I recently sent a letter to the International Bluegrass Music Association's membership and I thought I'd let our newsletter readers in on all the buzz. We received a ton of emails in response to the letter and a lot of the cable operators got calls from our membership at the IBMA.

I‘m asking our readers to join in and help. All you have to do is call or write your local cable operators, Dish or DirecTV and ask them to add BlueHIghways TV. Let them know we are a family style network featuring music, arts, crafts and good things happening in America with programming that was produced in the good old USA.
We are proud of our network and for what it stands for and I know you are too.

Thanks in advance for all your help and support. Read Letter»

Small Animal Catch
An event called the "Small Animal Catch" really grabbed my attention – all puns intended! We were in Eastman, Wisconsin, a farming community in the southwest corner of the state for their annual 4th of July Celebration. My brother Mark and nephew Garret had just completed a highly competitive 3-legged sack race, and now crate cages were surrounding the town's lone baseball diamond. "What happens now?" read more»

Peace In The Valley – Red Foley
By Stan Hitchcock

One day, in 1960, I was in the studio of radio station KWTO, in Springfield, Missouri where we taped our radio shows for the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch, and as I was singing one or two of the good old gospel songs I noticed a man standing outside the studio window watching and listening. After we had finished the taping, I stepped out into the hall and came face to face with Red Foley, the man that I respected most in music. read more»

I Will Sing To The Lord All My Life Psalms 104:33
The phrase, "Thy word have I hid in my heart" is sung in Psalms 119:11. The word, "psalm" means "song" and some of the best known scriptures are from the Psalms. I would venture that no other chapter of the bible is as well-known as Psalm 23. read more»
