PRECIOUS MEMORIES
 Buck Owens passed near the end of March and another pioneer has gone. He was a great man of music and a great friend and I treasure the
memories of the time we got to spend together, in music. The last time I was with him was when he came into Nashville to do Heart to Heart with me when I was still running CMT. It was 1988 and he brought one of his trademark red,
white and blue guitars that he had specially made for his friends, and he gave it to me in the middle of the show.

RenoFest is a celebration of the life and times of Don Reno's Music and is put on by the city of Hartsville SC. RenoFest was recently selected as the "2005 Event of the Year" by the
South Carolina Festival & Event Association. It is held on the 4th Saturday of March every year and I'm proud to say we are in our 9th year and still climbing.

 Spring is here…flowers are blooming…and ratings are in the air. After testing the system through March, RFD-TV
is performing their first ratings period through the month of April and BlueHighways TV is excited about the chance to measure our audience for the first time. We have received thousands of letters, e-mails and product orders from
our audience but this is the first chance we have to get ratings information. This will be a great help as we try to find program sponsors that will help keep our programming on RFD-TV.
So here's a gentle reminder…
