"A Thankful Heart"
by Stan Hitchcock
The fall of the year has always been my favorite time of year. The trees changing colors, the nights getting chilly, the fish starting to bite again after the late summer heat.

Listen To The Wind
I've known Lacy for over 20 years and I've always been a fan of her singing and writing. She has a special quality to her voice that just goes to the heart of any song. I loved her definitive recording of "Sixteenth Avenue" and thought
she couldn't do any better than that one. Well, I was wrong. She could do better and she has. Her new CD is just wonderful. I wrote her a note after I heard it for the first time when she sent me an advanced copy. I told her that it
was my favorite CD of all the music I have heard in the past twenty years. It stays on my desk here at BlueHighways TV and when I need a lift I just slip it in my CD player and lean back and close my eyes to get lost in the music.
Listen, friends, I have never lied to you about anything and sure not music, you need to get this CD. It would also make a great Christmas present. Trust me on this one. We have it in stock, now.

The Reno Tradition
The Reno Tradition will be eating turkey on the road this year but we are looking forward to going to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on November
25th and then on to Dade City, Florida on the 26th and 27th. Dade City is wonderful this time of year and we get to see a lot of our snowbird friends. This will be our last tour for 2005 but we've had a great year and
have talked to and met a lot of fans and viewers along the blue highways. Stay tuned for our 2006 touring information coming up in our January Newsletter.

Bumming Around
Dan Miller knows how to sing a song and make it his own. Dan toured for years across America playing honky-tonks, country music joints, fairs and anywhere else a good country song could be sung. Later he was featured on various TNN shows
as host and performer. This is a brand new CD that Dan recorded here in Nashville with a bunch of top musicians and I know you will love it. We have it in stock so come on and try it.

P.S. We need a good dressin' recipe too. Ronnie says he knows how to make dressin' but the best I can remember it doesn't call for peanut butter!

Survey
The big question for this month is about festivals, most particularly, music festivals. Since some of our programming is gleaned from festivals around the country we thought your input would help
us:

This is the time of the year to truly thank God for our friends and families, for the beauty and bounty of this Thanksgiving season. We pray you have a safe and happy journey!
