Summer's over…I don't know about everyone else…bring on the Fall…cooler, less humid weather…football…baseball pennant races…and a new season of shows.
Otherwise, Heart to Heart this month is going to
feature some historical music performances from the original Stan Hitchcock Show which was shot in the early 1980's at the School of the Ozarks in Lookout Point, MO. Watch later this month for Johnny Russell, LeRoy VanDyke and Razzy
Bailey.
Later this month, Sept. 21st and 28th on the BlueHighways Jam, we'll be airing a 2-part special featuring the music of Hank Williams. In Meeting of Masters, Roy Clark and Jazz legend Joe Pass come together in studio playing the hits of Hank Williams with a distinctive
new feel; definitely one of our more popular shows.
Listen to a sample.
On Reno's Old Time Music Festival we'll be airing the 2-part special on the Renfro Valley Barn Dance that Ronnie shot this summer. These episodes offer a look back at the history of the Barn Dance, a look at the new facility and clips from the 50's featuring some great classic
moments.
On the Gospel Sampler, we will be airing some specials produced as The Old Country Church. These specials are hosted by Barbara Fairchild and feature local, regional and national bands with music shot in old country churches throughout the Ozarks. |
