Contact Industries was recently awarded Forest Stewardship Council Chain-of-Custody certification after completing an extensive accreditation process. Since 1946, the company has specialized in extending valuable wood resources through the innovative design and manufacture of architectural moulding and millwork components for commercial, residential and institutional projects.

"In a year where we were recognized as an ISO 9000 compliant organization, we are pleased to also be able to offer our customers FSC chain of custody certification for the products we provide," said Peter McKibbin, Contact Industries Vice President. "This recognition from FSC helps validate the resource efficient practices we've been using for many years."

The Hills of Troy is a master planned community located east of the Twin Cities in Wisconsin. The 270-acre development features over 70 acres dedicated to conservation, as well as abundant scenic nature trails and recreational areas. Nestled in the rolling hills of western Wisconsin's dairy country overlooking the St. Croix River is a residential development that artfully leverages its environmental gifts.

The Hills of Troy feature homes on oversized sites surrounded by more than 70 acres of preserved open and wooded space. Seeking ways to complement the natural exterior environment inside the completed homes, one of the builders, Dreamstructure, turned to Contact Industries' dealer, Complete Millwork, to provide environmentally responsible hardwood cherry veneer-wrapped mouldings and millwork.

Contact Industries was recently awarded the Gold Level Vendor Award by Marvin Windows and Doors' for the second year in a row. The Gold Level Award is the highest attainable. This is the second year that Contact supplied door components to Marvin Windows and Doors.
