What a wonderful place for a cool summer get-away.

                             From seals to surfers, from sunsets to moonlit walks on the beach, visitors and residents alike have murmured, "Oh Oceanside".

This summer, experience the inner-circle of the San Luis Rey Band of the Mission Indians. Participate in the Pow-Wow dancing, drumming, basket weaving and sand painting. When the week-end is over, stroll along one of the sandy, pristine beaches.

Known for its surfing, Oceanside is a stop for many surfing events including Koastal Kaos, Longboard and traditional festivals and the World Body Surfing Competition.

One of the hidden treasures in Oceanside is the outdoor amphitheater, situated against the dramtic back drop of the Pacific Ocean.  Summer events include Jazz at the Beach and Countryfest.
