  • The correct dimensions of Marilynne Morshead's artwork featured in the SF Open Studios Guide is 11 x 14 inches unframed, 16 x 20 inches framed.
Weekend 3: October 18 & 19 Weekend 4: October 25 & 26
  • Tom Flynn's e-mail is tomflynnart@yahoo.com. The title of his artwork featured in the SF Open Studios Guide is Jimmy's Gate, Ink Drawing, 14 x 17 inches.

Premier and Participating Artist Bulletin: The Place to Go to Know Your Arts

  • Leslie Lowinger will present her artwork in a one-day art opening and live performances on October 17, 5-10pm, Da Ranch, 1433 Van Dyke, SF.
  • Rebecca Fox is currently exhibiting her metal sculpture in Pacific Rim Sculpture, now through October 17, Carl Cherry Center for the Arts, 4th Ave. and Guadeloupe St., Carmel-By-The-Sea. Her work is also presented in Geometry x3 now through December 3 at The Atrium, 600 Townsend St. and in the group exhibition Reflections by the Bay until December 2 at California Modern Gallery, 1035 Market St.
  • Liz Mamorsky presents her work in Second Hand: Creative Reuse in Times of Less now through November 7 at 100 38th St., #1501, Richmond. Her work will be featured in Robobit Trashformations from October 11 to November 1 at Future Studio Gallery, 5558 N. Figueroa St., LA. Her artwork will also be included in Reclaim, Rework, Recreate: The Gotthelf Goes Green December 3 to February 25, 2009 at Gotthelf Art Gallery, 4126 Executive Dr., La Jolla.
  • Ray Lobato is showing artwork in Strictly Bayview, a group show at Art94124 Gallery, 3900B 3rd St., now until October 24. Karaoke Reception: 10/17, 6-9pm. Closing BBQ: 10/24, 6-9pm.
  • Bernadette Jiyong Frank is showing "Chemistry" (one of the Pulse Series) in a juried show "New Visions 2008" now at Pro Arts Gallery, 550 2nd Street, Oakland now through October 24.
  • Irena Kononova is participating in Mystic Reality, a group show at Noma Gallery, 80 Maiden Lane, now through November 2.
  • Ravi Anand's photographs are featured in Architectural Textures at 2223 Restaurant, 2223 Market St., SF now through November 18.
  • Sonia Melnikova-Raich will show her artwork in the juried exhibition Reflections of the Bay at California Modern Gallery, 1035 Market St., now until December 2. Her work will be featured in After Life, an international juried photography exhibit at Watson Studio Gallery, Johmson City, TX now through November 22.
  • Maxine Solomon has two solo shows this fall: ArtHaus Gallery, 411 Bryant Street, through December. CCIS, California Institute of Integral Studios, 1452 Mission Street, SF, will feature Solomon's paintings in their Main Exhibition, Opening Reception: October 24 in Namaste Hall, 7-9pm. The show will run through December 12.
  • Alan Mazzetti present works from his Wine Foils Series at Sapphire Hill Winery, 51 Front Street, Healdsburg now through November 30, with a food and wine affair taking place on November 1 & 2.
  • Schnetzler Photography will show artwork in a group show at The Historic Monadnock Building, 685 Market St. now until January 1. Opening Reception: 10/22, 6-8pm.
  • Bay Printmakers will present a group exhibit of original prints from over 20 artists October 17 to January 2, 2009 at Falkirk Cultural Center, 1408 Mission St., San Rafael.

  • December 3: The Creative Work Fund is inviting artists and organizers to apply for funding in the areas of media arts and traditional/folk arts. California-based women artists are invited to submit works that express their perspectives on immigration, whether based on personal experience, family history, or strong personal convictions. Organized by Women's Caucus for Art and the Korean Cultural Center of Los Angeles, the exhibition will run from February 20-March 9, 2009 and be juried by Alma Ruiz, curator at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art.
