If you missed the 80 of us who gathered in March, be sure to attend ArtSpan's second Artist Mixer of the year. Sign up for SF Open Studios Participating Artist Membership and learn about volunteer opportunites with ArtSpan. Share a drink with fellow artists and art lovers. 2007 SF Open Studios: Participating Artist Membership Deadline
The Participating Artist Membership deadline is August 30th. Sign up online before August 30th to be included in the online Guide and in the SF Bay Guardian Maps.
  • Step one is to make a payment.
  • Passwords to sign-up are sent after payment is made.
  • Logins and passwords from prior years must be reactivated through payment.
  • Upload a JPEG image and write an Artist Statement for the online Guide, which goes live in September 2007

  • October 5-7 Studios will not be open. Gear up for SF Open Studios at the Private Preview Gala and Exhibition Opening Reception!

  • Call for Art: Entry Deadline: June 23,2007. Capturing the Light - Photography exhibit from July 21 through August 18. Aurora Colors Gallery, 145 Kentucky Street, Petaluma is looking for drawings with light with significant form. Opening Reception: Sat. July 21st, 6:30-8:30pm.   • The 29th Annual Celebration of Craftswomen Festival, Fort Mason, San Francisco, is now accepting applications for both established and emerging artists. This prestigious juried festival will be attended by thousands of craftsbuyers November 24-25 & December 1-2, 2007.   • Deadline May 31, 2007: Fourth Annual Central Coast Fine Arts Competition August 10 - September 16. Over $3000 in awards. Juror is Susan Hillhouse, Curator of Exhibition and Collections, Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History. Entries must be original 2-D works, excepting photography, computer generated work. Must be painted within the past three years and without the aid of an instructor. For a prospectus send a self addressed envelop to Morro Bay Art Association, 835 Main Street, Morro Bay, CA 93442, or download and print a prospectus from www.morrobayartassociation.org/ccfac.html.
