Here's a Great Way to Save Government Money:

Fire All of the EPA's Scientists!

Nobody's Listening to Them, Anyway

EPA Administrator Stephen L. Johnson has got to be the hardest working guy in government these days. Think about it. Johnson perpetually ignores the (oftentimes unanimous) advice of his agency's scientists and regularly makes major policy decisions based on his own whims. In effect, he's running the EPA all by himself. And, he never complains about it. What a trooper. Complete Story

Do you have an unnatural interest in fuel prices? Are you a fan of tables filled with important-looking numbers? If so, we recommend finding a healthier hobby (combing through Hillary Clinton's first lady schedules vainly trying to find entries labeled "Baking Cookies", etc.), or you can feed your fetish by checking out BWC's previous Alternative Fuel Report "Biodiesel, Ethanol, and Petro-Diesel Prices Go Up" as published in the February 21st issue of 'Kicking Asphalt'.

BWC High-Mileage Review
Very smartNot Just For Croissant-Eating Europeans Anymore:

The "smart fortwo" Comes to America!

Now, If We Could Just Switch from Individually-Wrapped Slices of American Cheese to Brie, We'd Really be Sophisticated

How Euro can this car be? The smart fortwo is produced at "Smartville" in Hambach, France. The brand was established in 1994 as a joint venture of Daimler-Benz and the Swiss watch manufacturer Swatch. Today it is fully owned by Daimler AG.

Despite its blatantly anti-American (and possibly Communist) origins, the smart fortwo is a great car, and smart's production practices are more environmentally friendly than most. For example, only water-soluble paints are used for the smart's three basic colors – black, white and yellow. Painting the tridion safety cell is done via powder-coating, which removes the need for solvents. In addition, the body panels with molded-in color are fully recyclable. Complete Story
