Let's Be Codependent: We'll Be Your Friend If You'll Be Our Fan
Better World Club Is Accepting Fans on Facebook, Friends on
MySpace, and Followers on
Twitter
Let Your Friends Know About BWC Without Going to the Trouble of Speaking with Them
Better World Club is working away on BWC 2.0, which will recognize the Club as the community we are: you'll be able to get information from other members (What's the greenest hotel in Rome? Does the new
Prius meet your expectations?), share your itineraries, post travel videos, and more.
But here's the first step in building a community and it's available to us now: join us on Facebook, Twitter, or MySpace.
You enjoy Kicking Asphalt and/or other BWC services. Through social networking, we can engage each other even more effectively.
You can also let your friends know great Better World Club is without going to the trouble of actually speaking with them*. Become a Friend/Fan/Follower via social networking, and that way, each time your friends visit your profile they'll
see our adorable logo and want to learn more. It will also make sharing your positive experiences with BWC that much easier. Or since you'll be able to re-tweet our tweets, perhaps they will become followers as well.
It's also a way to get more policy information in real time. We're just gearing up to get you this information, but you can help us out. The more fans, the more influence we all can have.
Plus, if your friend ends up joining,
you can receive credit on your next renewal for having referred them.
Join our cult of personality on
Facebook,
MySpace, and/or
Twitter.

[*In addition to glowing compliments, BWC members (very) occasionally have complaints. If you do have a complaint about BWC, we ask that you
contact us to give us a chance to address your concerns before you post them online.]

BWC Congratulates Oregon/Idaho AAA For Offering Bicycle Assistance!
Gee...They Didn't Congratulate Us When We Introduced Bike Assistance...Six Years Ago
Or When We Introduced A Discount on Membership Fees for Mass Transit Users
We'll Congratulate AAA Again When Its Bicycle Program Covers More Than Two States...It's The Kind of People We Are
After pushing an exclusively pro-car agenda for over 100 years, AAA has finally managed to roll out a bicycle roadside assistance program -- in Oregon and Southern Idaho. And they're doing so in a
way that implies that they just invented it.
Of course, Better World Club's bike program has been operating in all 50 states and Canada since 2003, but why split hairs? We're just happy that AAA is actually acknowledging that bicycles can be used as an alternative to automobiles (in
Oregon and Southern Idaho, at least).
Click here to learn more about AAA's watered-down copy of our first-in-the-nation bicycle roadside assistance program. |
