Notes & Website Updates
1. 2008 membership handbook can be accessed here.
2. Scores started counting towards handicaps beginning March 1st. Handicap update schedule can be found here Please remember to pick up your handicap cards and stickers from the men's club table at the course.
3. Remember you can post non club-play scores either by turning in cards at the Heron Lakes clubhouse or posting on the GHIN computer at the course you played at. Scores cannot be posted online.
4. The rules and entry form for the Match Play and Eclectic Tournaments will be sent in separate emails.
5. The no-show fee is now in effect. If you fail to show up for any reason from March through November, you will be ineligible to play in any of the weekly or monthly tournaments until you contact the Team Captain and pay a no-show fee. Play in the Men's Club will not be allowed until the total fine is paid. No show fees are $15 for individual tournaments and $20 for team tournaments. No show fees for the major tournaments are $15 plus the entry fee. In order to cancel your time, you must call the course and leave a message on the Club voice mail box by 5:00 p.m. Thursday.
7. Please note that beginning with the May Major tournament we will test interest in a White Tee Net score flight (separate prize pool). To qualify to play in the White Tee Net flight you must be 55+ or have a handicap index of 15.0 or higher. Let your Wednesday or Saturday captain know if you are interested.
