55% Merlot
22% Cabernet Sauvignon
15% Zinfandel
7% Syrah
1% Other (Tempranillo, Tannat)
This is, officilally, Herb's favorite Druid's ever. He liked the 2006 a lot, but is especially proud of this wine. Notes of chocolate mousse, raspberry, and mincemeat leap generously from the glass. Flavors are of cranberry and cassis. The
traditional sweetness plays on the finish but is balanced by a definite tartness reminiscent of ripe pomegranate. Sure to be a crowd favorite.
Futures Pricing
$14.40 per bottle
$172.80 per case
One case maximum
Release Pricing
$18.00 per bottle
$216.00 per case
2007 was a challenging vintage, but strong nerves and good sites won out over unpredictable weather. Before barreling down, we microoxygenated (saturated the wine with tiny bubbles of oxygen) to speed up the aging process. The result was a
softer profile that required less fining. The collective input from the Troon team after weeks of blending trials resulted in a fantastic wine.

The fruit was predominately sourced from the old vines of the Layne Vineyard. 2005 was well suited toward bringing out the classic spice and pepper qualities of Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the warmth of Southern Oregon. In tribute to our

History |
|
|
Established in 1972 by founder and southern Oregon grape growing pioneer Dick Troon, the winery is now owned and operated by the Martin family. With an incredible new tasting room and winery completed in summer
2005, this is the preeminent facility in southern Oregon. Reminiscent of a French villa, this multi-building complex has some distinctly contemporary influences. Details like copper gutters, tile roofs, and extensive cedar work, serve to
accentuate some of the traditional aspects. Inside you will find hand-scraped hickory floors, granite countertops, and a commercial kitchen, leaving no doubt that attention to detail is important to us. With unique experiences like
providing accompanying hors d'oeuvres for tasting, brunches throughout the summer, winemaker's dinners, cooking classes and numerous other events throughout the year, this is a can't miss stop.

The VinoLab
Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 5pm
June through September 7th
At Troon Vineyard we have always known that making great wine is just a part of the overall equation. After all, what worth would making great wine have, were it not for the fabulous company in which we choose to enjoy it? Would we
appreciate all of it's depth and complexity if we did not have great food to give us a relative perspective? We don't claim to have been the first or the only to have this realization, merely that we believe in the power of those parts,
that the sum of which become greater than the whole. Thus, the VinoLab was born. The VinoLab is a small not-so-secret society at Troon Vineyard that focuses on isolating the yummies that work well together. Team Troon spends long arduous
hours painstakingly evaluating specific foods and wines to bring to you the best possible pairings. We feature these concepts throughout the year in our various events and during the summer months (May to September) on the weekends with
paired wine flights. We also offer the VinoLab for private events, to inquire about the availability of certain dates or for any other questions please email Liz Wan at lwan@troonvineyard.com . Don't miss this opportunity to relax and
enjoy table side wine descriptions on our spectacular new patio with your very own server and perfectly paired appetizers with each wine served! Small bites will be available a la carte and library wine flights will be featured.

A Taste of History
1pm to 5pm
Take a historic walking trip into Downtown Medford's past with Troon Vineyard on June 21st!
The Taste Of History was born during a Medford Urban Renewal Agency Marketing Committee brainstorming session in the fall of 2004. The purpose of the event was to showcase Downtown Medford and feature a walking tour of the historic
buildings that had been renovated utilizing the façade grant improvement program that was funded by Medford Urban Renewal Agency.
With approximately 15 historic locations on the tour, The 2008 Taste Of History promises to be bigger and better than ever. The 2008 Taste Of History will also include more musicians, artists, wineries and food samples. Please join us in
celebrating the rich history of Downtown Medford the 2nd Saturday in June. Come see why we say Medford is A City In Bloom!

VinoLab Focus |
|
|
The VinoLab is one of the most complex concepts that we have undertaken here at Troon Vineyard. The constant exploration of service, presentation and pairing is time consuming not to mention ambitious. All of the hard work culminates in
the delicious food & wine pairings showcased on Saturday's and Sunday's from noon to 5pm through the first weekend in September. We are constantly asked to publish our recipes and so we have created our own recipes blog!
