Unusual Background

In the late 70's and 80's, I was the largest marijuana smuggler in West Coast history. As the newspapers said I had a fleet of boats larger than most countries navies. I lived in a $3 million dollar mansion on 250 acres in the mountains of Northern California, owned a 1,000 concrete pier in the San Francisco Bay area, built 4,000 square-foot houseboats as a front for my smuggling operations and commanded a worldwide network of marijuana smugglers, distributors and suppliers. I made over $100,000,000 by the time I was 30 years old.

The news media dubbed me "The King of Pot" and for the honor of the title I got to spend 9 years in prison. It wasn't so bad - I was in the last two co-ed prisons in America and actually walked around holding hands with my girlfriend - and at the end of the day the men and women just went into separate units. From the moment I was arrested I saw it as an unprecedented opportunity of a life time to learn, grow and study. So while in prison I ended getting five college degrees, read 100 books a year learned and taught computer technology and Kundalini yoga classes, and took dozens of other courses offered in prison. I spent about 8.5 hours a day in some form of self-improvement.

Unusual Resume - After Prison

When I got out of prison, my Unusual Resume titled "Ex-Marijuana King Pin Needs Job" created a worldwide media story sensation in hundreds of newspapers, magazine, radio and TV news. A high school teacher read it to her high school Current Affairs class and one student said, "Bruce is stupid for getting a job. He should go back to drug smuggling". So she called me up and asked if I'd do a drug talk to her Oakland school class. I said "yes", which made more media stories, and than teamed up with the FBI agent who arrested me 10 years earlier. He was retired from the FBI and was the assistant director of alcohol and drug programs for the state of California and for the next 18 months we were the most sought after anti-drug speaking team in America. The kids would listen to me because of my background.

Network Marketing

Jerry Rubin, previously from the Chicago 7, and now a successful network marketer selling nutritional products also read the resume story and invited me to team up with him and use my marketing skills to do network marketing with him. I did that for a year very successfully than started my own network marketing company pioneering phone cards in America and was the fastest growing phone card company in the US at that time. The first time a retail store put their logo on a phone card was 7-11, and we did that original 7-11 phone card. My partner and I sold that company and started another network marketing company selling Callback (an inexpensive way to call from foreign countries back to America or other countries) and we smashed a world's record in that industry by opening 187 training centers worldwide in just 9 months (before the internet, email and mass marketing campaigns). We used to have conference calls with 30 to 40 countries on them every week.

Other Business's and Back to Network Marketing

From there I experimented with, and opened, a "Barter Company" and did about $400,000,000 in barter transactions in my first 10 months using phone cards as my medium of exchange. I traded them for everything imaginable. I also started a company called Energy Wellness which became the largest manufacturer and distributor of Rife machines in the world, selling to holistic healers, chiropractors, naturopaths, nutritionists and many other kinds of energy healers. At the same time I entered back into the network marketing arena part-time and broke another world's record earning $175,000 in commission checks my second month. My downline made $2.5 million collectively that month.

Women's Millionaire Network

All of that background was just the training ground for what is now occurring with the Women's Millionaire Network which has the goal of creating 1,000 millionaire women who each create 1,000 millionaire women using network marketing, the barter industry, and many other business's working synergistically together to make this a reality. By doing this we allow women to emerge into their power and have a much greater say in how things are run on this planet. From the age of 17 when I had a very profound spiritual experience I have believed that "The wealth of the heavens would come through me to give to the people that are going to change the world" or that I was "the funding mechanism" for this to happen. Currently that movement has just began with the Women's Millionaire Network, where probably the most Conscious Evolutionary Women ever assembled in one group, are co-creating this campaign which in reality is the paradigm shift in action manifesting itself in the socio-economic realm.
