Donor spotlight: Champaign Estate Sales

Karen Pope of Champaign Estate Sales and 30 Minute Wonders can trace her involvement with Habitat for Humanity all the way back to being a volunteer coordinator on a the 2001 Boley Family house.

Karen started Champaign Estate Sales and 30 Minute Wonders four years ago, and has offered professional, honest, and friendly service ever since. With Champaign Estate Sales she is able to sell all of the contents of a person's home after a relocation or death.

If there are items left over, the Habitat for Humanity ReStore is the first place she calls. She says that the pick-up service that Habitat offers is always prompt, reliable, professional and courteous, and would highly recommend it to other individuals and businesses. Her customers always appreciate the tax receipt. Karen says she loves Habitat for Humanity because the families receive a fresh start, and home ownership adds a sense of stability to people's lives.

With 30 Minute Wonders, Karen offers a professional organizing service where most projects can be completed in 3-4 hours. All jobs are confidential and she offers free estimates. Since most organizing projects require de-cluttering, she will often recommend where to donate the leftover items. Thank you, Karen!
