Collection Location for Food Bank |
|
|
Habitat for Humanity's ReStore is now a permanent drop off location for food donations for Eastern Illinois Foodbank. Eastern Illinois Foodbank welcomes gifts of
nonperishable canned, packaged and bottled food as well as cleaning supplies, and personal toiletry items.
You may drop of donations for the Foodbank during regular ReStore hours. The collection box is located near the Cashier Station. |

Thanks to everyone who currently donates lunch for our home build volunteers on Saturdays during the build season. Don't forget about the ReStore Saturday crew! I am
looking for volunteers interested in feeding a weekly hard working crew of Saturday volunteers; working to raise money for home builds one couch at a time . This can be a one time gift or an ongoing opportunity. If you are interested in

Getting Your Group Involved |
|
|
Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County is happy to host group volunteer activities as we have projects available. Projects could involve, but are not limited to, helping
in the ReStore, working on home builds, assisting with mailings, and much more!
Current group projects and large project wish list items include (but are not limited to):
• Regular cleaning of the store and offices
• Design, installation and set-up of a staff and volunteer break room (including sink, counters, fridges, lighting and seating area)
• Design, installation and set-up of an Information Kiosk in the ReStore (including tall table, tall chair, brochure display, corkboard and storage for supplies)
• Organizing our archives
• Help us finish our move! Final clean out of former store location, including cleaning off the windows and removing exterior signs
• Organizing our memory books for display
• Painting our stairwells
Group build opportunities will become available in March and April.

Happy Hours Resume February 13th |

Join the Volunteer Committee as we resume our monthly Happy Hours on February 13th!
The first volunteer Happy Hour mixer for 2007 is Tuesday, February 13, from 5pm-7pm back at Boltini Lounge in downtown Champaign. Free appetizers and name tags! Bring a warm smile, a firm handshake, and get ready to mix it up with those

With the build season opening in March and April, we have ground breakings and home dedications to plan! These heart-warming events need dedicated volunteers to help make

Regular ReStore Orientations |

Beginning on Saturday, January 13th, regular weekly ReStore orientations will happen on Saturday mornings at 9a. Beginning on Wednesday, January 24th regular weekly
ReStore orientations will begin at 5:30p.
The orientation schedule for January is as follows:
Saturday, January 20th at 9a
Wednesday, January 24th at 5:30p
Saturday, January 27th at 9a
Wednesday, January 31st at 5:30p.
The orientation schedule for February is as follows:
Saturday, February 3rd at 9a
Wednesday, February 7th at 5:30p
Saturday, February 10th at 9a
Wednesday, February 14th at 5:30p
Saturday, February 17th at 9a
Wednesday, February 21st at 5:30p.

All ReStore orientations begin on the main floor of the store. Habitat for Humanity's ReStore is located at 119 E. University Ave. This schedule is subject to change. Old store volunteers are encouraged to attend a new store orientation
for the updated store policies and to learn more about this massive three story building.
