Reiki Shares

Reiki Shares are opportunities for people to practice this holistic, hands-on healing art.

Most of our Shares are open to everyone regardless of experience, some are created to support practitioners only.

Kindly register in advance via MeetUp.

Hi !

Self-care is the foundation for balance on every level of our lives: body, mind and spirit. When we take good care of ourselves, we are able to be present for needs that may arise around us, whether it is raising a family or running a corporation.

Reiki, a gentle, hands-on, holistic healing technique always begins with the self. The first thing we learn in a Reiki class is how to give a self-treatment.

Reiki provides the container where everything easily fits together.

As the mission of EastWest Reiki Association revealed itself to us, it soon became completely clear that our number one priority must be to offer Reiki as a self-care method for the "givers" of the world. Because almost every one of us takes care of others, it means we all could benefit from using Reiki as a tool for self-care.

Self-care and service gracefully co-exist with Reiki.

In our own lives we found that attention to self-care exponentially enhanced our ability to serve others. It allowed us to experience the balance needed to begin a business that is completely aligned with our goals and desires.

Health care professionals such as nurses and licensed massage therapists often give so much to others, that they have little left to offer themselves. Classes through EastWest Reiki now offer Continuing Education (CE) contact hours for RN's and LMT's. This is a wonderful way to enrich your personal and professional growth at the same time!

Our upcoming Reiki Classes and monthly Reiki Shares are listed in the left column. If Reiki is in your immediate future, we encourage you to register soon to secure your space.

We were honored to Attune/Initiate 51 people into the Reiki tradition last year. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We stand ready to support your Reiki goals.

If you are already a Reiki practitioner looking for a supportive community, let's talk. We are actively looking to co-create with other Reiki visionaries.

Take good care of yourself.

Love, Diane and Terry

Reiki on TV

On Jan 6, 2010 Dr. Oz highlighted his favorite alternative medicine methods on his show. He describes energy medicine as "ultimately the most important alternative medical treatment of all".

Follow this link to see what he had to say about Reiki.

It's exciting that Reiki is fast becoming recognized as a valuable wellness modality!

Where Reiki practitioners gather, Reiki stories abound!

How did you first learn about Reiki?

Have you received or given yourself a Reiki treatment that resulted in a major shift?

Have you ever given a Reiki treatment where the receiver reported extraordinary results?

It's time to share your story with others. We want to include a Reiki Story is every newsletter.

Please compose it in a "word" document (about 500 words).

Send it to us at diane@EastWestReiki.org before the 15th of each month.
