Hi !

It is easy to feel balanced and content when our surroundings are calm. Yet life is full of activity. Can this dichotomy be reconciled?

The answer is a resounding yes! The starting point is to learn how to be present as each moment unfolds.

Step One
Become an observer of a situation:

  • You stub your toe

  • A driver cuts you off

  • Someone blames you for something

  • You finish a project

  • You look up at the night sky

  • A child gives you a hug

Step Two
When you realize you are observing a situation, notice the inner voice that is constantly naming, remembering, judging or worrying about what is going on.

Step Three
As the observer of the inner voice, make the choice to refrain from joining in. Take a deep breath. Let this moment pass.

Step four
Observe what happens in the next present moment.

Repeat as often as you remember to observe what's going on.

Here's a video showing us how to live in the present moment.

Reiki is an empowering way to learn how to live in the present moment.

Imagine yourself as a big, brass gong. Now picture all of your outer circumstances and other people as the mallet that strikes you all day long.

A daily Reiki practice has the effect of keeping you well polished and tuned to optimal levels. As you go about your day, you will begin to notice that you resonate harmoniously regardless of what or whom swings the mallet. The result is balance and contentment wherever you go.

P.S. With tongue in cheek we invite you to step out the present moment for a bit and visualize yourself at one of our upcoming Reiki classes or shares.

That's it … take a moment to imagine yourself in one of our classes learning how to more easily live in the present moment.

Feel good? Then step back into the present and register for a class right now. We look forward to meeting you at this exciting level of connection!

Reiki Story of the Month

I went into Diane's Reiki I class with no real expectations as to my learning to give Reiki, but hoped to receive great energy.

To my surprise I became a conduit and the energy flowed through my hands and fingers with an all encompassing peace as I passed universal energy to my receiver.

When I became the receiver of Reiki, I accepted the energy and my aching shoulder, which had been problem [for many years], quickly quit and the pain was gone.

A great sense of peace followed and has lasted for days.
