Welcome Karla, Vibrant Reiki's newest staff member. Karla will be interning with us through July, and I can't say enough positive, loving, enthusiastic things about her. We met at one of my CIIS lectures, and found resonance and rapport immediately.

Karla moved to San Francisco from Chapel Hill, NC last year to attend CIIS and tackle her graduate degree in Integrative Health. Fitness guru by day, Karla can be found in her off time hula hooping, flower gazing, cooking extravagant baked things (yum!), devouring dark chocolate, spending time with her cat, or fantasizing about her next life as a banjo player.

Over the next four months, Karla will be working on several reiki projects, which will include:

- Running the Reiki Clinic
- Health insurance coverage for reiki
- Creating two off-site Reiki Clinic events
- Hosting an event for Reiki Professionals

Karla is just the bees knees, from her Southern charm to her home baked muffins, from her adventurous outdoor spirit to her loving reiki paws. I am profoundly, profoundly grateful for her incredible and dedicated help. I adore her, and know you will, too!

CHAKRA BALANCING & PENDULUM
We'll practice some techniques for balancing chakras, and play with pendulums. We'll take turns on the table working on each other, and learn how to deeply connect with a pendulum, discern how pendulums 'speak' to us, and practice three basic pendulum exercises. Everyone takes home a pendulum!

REFRESHER REIKI ATTUNEMENT
When Usui Sensei taught reiki, it was accepted that one received as much reiju (attunement) as possible. Today in the western world, we often only do one attunement for each level, and stop there. Receiving repeated reiki attunements can be a huge support for us energetically, and they're so much fun! You'll be zinging and zipping, with a stronger, refreshed connection to reiki.

CHANTING & TONING & REIKI SHARE
Is there anything better than chanting and toning with a gaggle o reikifolk? We'll play with sacred sounds and the sweet medicine of vibrational healing. Sound healing is amazing for breaking up stagnant energy, and for welcoming in high vibrations of love and light. And, everyone loves a reiki share.
