This note contains the details for Bob Arnold's Memorial Service to be held at the Miramar National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 30th. Please note the special instructions and the request from Pam to let her know you are going to attend.

Capt. Robert B. Arnold will be laid to rest on June 30th at 10:30 am at the Miramar National Cemetery. A reception will follow at 11:30 at the Officer's Club on the Miramar Marine Base.

INSTRUCTIONS:
The address of the Cemetery is 5795 Nobel Drive. That is actually the entrance to the Avenue of Flags where we line up for the drive to the ceremony site. Please arrive between 10:05 and 10:20. The ceremony will last 30 minutes.

Following the ceremony, take a right turn from the Avenue of the Flags onto Nobel Drive. Take the next right (at the light) onto Miramar Road. Then drive to the Marine Base, which is approximately 10 minutes away. Enter at the Main Gate. Proceed to the first light Elrod and turn right (MacDonald's is on this corner.) Elrod ends in a T at Anderson. Turn right onto Anderson. The Officer's Club is about a half block on the left at 4472 Anderson.

The Base is very security conscious and all civilian guests will be admitted at the gate only if their name is on a list provided by me and they have a valid ID. So if you think there is a chance you may come, please let me know by email at pparnold@cox.net or telephone at 760-317-9670 by June 22nd, so I can include you on my list. Anyone with a military ID does not need to be on the list, but I would still like to know that you're coming so I have an approximate count for the caterer.

Hope you can all come to help me give a good send-off to my guy.

Love,
Pam
