Quick News: Updates to MyTeamCaptain
MyTeamCaptain Technology Update
Spring has sprung here at MyTeamCaptain and we're happy to say that we haven't been resting on our laurels. We don't think anyone actually knows what laurels are, or what they look like, but we definitely aren't resting on
them. Check out some of the upgrades we've made that will make your league and team management even easier.
Remember - MyTeamCaptain is free to use, so tell your friends about us!
1. Easy League/Captain Account Switching. It's now very easy to switch from your League Manager account to your Team Captain account. This is important for those league managers who would also like to
manage the teams in their leagues. As long as the league and team accounts are managed by the same email address, switching is as easy as a single click.

2. Your logo in the navigation bar. We have added another small bit of personalization to your account. In the My Account screen, captains can now define your own logo to go at the top of your
interface when you're logged in to your captain's account.
3. Some historical perspective. You can look at the history of MyTeamCaptain technology upgrades on a new page on our front site.
http://www.myteamcaptain.com/features_history.html .
4. Repeatable events. We have made it easy for you to add multiple events into your calendar with a single easy process. Useful if you are scheduling weekly practices, bi-weekly meetings, or daily
games during a tournament, all you have to do is create a new event (using the green plus) and then click the double-plus to allow multiple events.

Adding multiple events at once is easy
5. Attendance summary by SMS. Captains can now go to the Teams page and activate a new checkbox to have attendance summaries for events sent to their cell phones. Summaries are sent at the same time as
the attendance summary emails, 4 hours before the event. Once again, a HUGE thank you to
2chatter.com for their help with all of our SMS functions.
6. New Community screen on front page. When you visit the front page of MyTeamCaptain.com, you will see a new Community area where you will see the latest scores and a user-friendly search area to find
MyTeamCaptain fansites. There's even a little spot that gives credit to the team with the most fans and the fansite with the most webpage visitors.
On the Burner
1. New fansite layouts. Our partner
digital-telepathy is working on some new designs for the fansites so you have more to choose from than just the "Classic" layout. We will be integrating these in the upcoming week, so check your fansite manager for
that.
2. Private labeled solutions. We are working on the ability to private label the entire MyTeamCaptain system with all kinds of custom options to choose from.
3. Warm up your video cameras! We're looking into some solutions for getting footage and still images of your games onto your fansites. Stay tuned for this exciting development!
4. AdCenter. We are working on a way for advertisers to place their ads on MyTeamCaptain. We are also looking to do some profit sharing with captains, so that if a team's players and fans click on links and generate revenue, the captain
and the team can benefit.
Thank you!
As always, we appreciate any
feedback you have and hope that you are enjoying MyTeamCaptain! Stay tuned for more upgrades coming soon!
Until next time,
Lars and Rocky
