Manage Your Teams More Efficiently
We have just completed an upgrade of the Active Teams and Active Leagues pages, making them more efficient and using less space for people that manage many teams or leagues. Everything is now compressed into two easy-to-find and
easy-to-use panes. And, as you would expect from MyTeamCaptain, it's fast and convenient.
We have also added 4 more partner sites -
MyMartialArtsLink,
MyHOAHelper,
MyShowHelper, and
MyYogaConnection. Check them out, or tell your friends if they work or play in any of those fields to take a look.
Technology Update
1. More efficient Active layouts. The Active Teams and Active Leagues layouts have been revamped. Each pane is now wider, to accommodate the increased number of quick links at the bottom of each team's viewing
pane. Ads have been moved from the bottom to the right side of the page. The compressed view, which limits the total number of visible panes to two, only appears when you are managing 3 or more teams.

2. New Events List. There is now a new way to view your calendar of events. You can view all of the events in a list form, as the screenshot below shows. Visitors to your fansite (public website) can also
view events this way.

3. New Ads will mean you can start making money for your team. On the Active Teams/Active Leagues page, you will see the ads have changed. We will be switching from using Yahoo! Publisher to our own ad-serving
system over the next several weeks. Why is this important? Because very soon you will be able to approach sponsors and offer them advertising in exchange for sponsoring your team!
Between now and the full launch of our new ad system, if you, or anyone you know, is interested in helping us test our advertising engine for a limited time for free, please contact us at
sales@myteamcaptain.com. We are also interested in providing free advertising to worthy non-profit organizations, so if you would like to pass this along to them, feel free.
On the Burner
1. AdCenter. We are making progress on the AdCenter, so advertisers can post ads on the MyTeam network of sites. Start thinking about companies that might be interested in sponsoring your team. More details on this later, as we
continue development.
2. More functionality for league managers. We're going to give more flexibility to league managers to help them better maintain communication
with all the players in the league, including a league-based fansite.
