Making Your Life Easier... Because That's What We Do
The big announcement for this update is the new Import function, just added to the Contacts page. Hopefully this will save you time as you use MyTeamCaptain technology to manage more teams.
We have also completed the build-out of our partner sites -
MyBandLink,
MyCharityManager,
MyClassHelper,
MyLinkedFamily, and
MyWineCircle have all launched.
Technology Update
1. New Import Function. In the Players (or Members) screen, there is a new look to the All Contacts area for Team Captains. Now you can easily import contacts from any application quickly into MyTeamCaptain.
It works with two steps. First, you put your contacts into the textbox and click "Check Import" to verify the data is good. And second, you click "Add to Contacts" and they are added.

2. Unsubscribing from emails. With the ability to import larger groups of contacts comes more responsibility. We require that all users be familiar with our
Terms of Use, which include responsible use of the email and SMS tools made available to all MyTeamCaptain (and other partner sites) users. Beyond that, we have launched a CAN-SPAM-Compliant unsubscribe function that
automatically appears at the bottom of all emails sent to a player or group member.
3. League Fansite. League Managers can now host fansites for their leagues, to make it easier for people to find out information about all the teams in their leagues.
4. Single, unified password and account switching. One password now controls all of your accounts. Since one person can be a League Manager, Team Captain, and Player (or Group Leader and Group Member for the other
portal sites), this simplifies the login process. You can switch from account to account at any time using new links in the My Account screen.

1. AdCenter. All of the ads served on the MyTeamCaptain network are now using our new AdCenter. We're working on the interface for advertisers, so stay tuned for the beta release announcement!
2. Team transferring. We're working on an easy way to switch an entire team to another account. If you change captains, there will no loss of continuity this way.
