It's your cause, make it happen
One request we've had from several of our users is to provide an easy way for companies to sponsor teams. So we put our heads together and came up with an incredibly easy way to do it -- directly through your team's website.
The ability to automatically accept payment for sponsorships and donations is another key reason to upgrade to Premium Account status.
Upgrade to Premium Account status on your My Account screen and start enjoying the benefits it provides!
Technology Update
1. Getting sponsorships through your website. You can now collect sponsorships and donations directly through your team website. Because the payment system is required to have this work, this convenient way to
collect money is available exclusively to Premium Account holders (upgrading is easy, just go to the My Account screen).

You set up sponsorship packages and keep track of donations to your team on the Players / Members page. Sponsorships come in 3 categories (silver, gold, and platinum) and will be visible on your team website under the new Sponsors
area. All captains and team leaders can manually add and edit sponsors here.

2. Setting positions for your players / group members. On the Players / Members screen, you can now set positions for each person on your team. Simply click on the purple position link to the left of the player to
assign the positions and roles that apply to that person.

3. Easy contact activation. Ordinarily you need to activate your contacts one at a time to add them to your teams. Premium accounts can now automatically activate contacts using the Import function. If you have
under 250 contacts or are a Premium Account holder, you can also activate all of your contacts at once using the new "Activate All Contacts" link in the All Contacts area.

4. Tracking parent mobile phones. If you activate parent information on the My Account screen, you have the ability to keep track of names, emails, and now mobile phone numbers for two parents for every child. This
is especially helpful if you need to send a text message to your team's parents letting them know about a last-minute change.

5. HTML Email function from the Active Teams/Groups page. You can now elect to send emails with a little more flair to your players and team members. Remember that every message you send is stored for you in your
Forum, so you can easily retrieve any of them and use them as templates. Note: due to limitations with the Safari browser on Mac, this function is not available if you are using that platform.

On the Burner
1. Hardware Upgrade. We're in the midst of a system-wide upgrade to our network and servers. Over the next few days there may be short, intermittent outages while we transition to the new system.
2. Variable event payments. The ability to set different payments (and payment exemptions) for different people coming to an event.
3. Surveys. We're working on a way to send out a survey to all or some of your team members and conveniently compile results.
4. AdCenter. All of the ads served on the MyTeamCaptain network are now using our new AdCenter. We're working on the interface for advertisers, so stay tuned for the beta release announcement! In
