New hardware means higher performance
To better serve you and to keep up with our
exponential growth, we are now running on brand new, state-of-the-art hardware. MyTeamCaptain and all of our partner sites were already fast. Now with these upgrades, our sites are even faster, and we're poised for even more
growth. Our new network includes new firewalls, load balancers, and all the crunchy goodness that state-of-the-art servers provide. What does that mean to you? Thanks to our friends in Round Rock, TX, you'll see faster,
more reliable service.
Of course, we haven't been focusing solely on our new network. We've also been working on new and improved tools to help you manage your billing, invite guests to events, forum post notifications, and a new homepage for your team
website. To get all the details, read below.
Have you taken advantage of your new Premium Account features?
It's easy to upgrade - simply change the status on your My Account page to start enjoying the benefits. Premium Accounts feature online event payment collection, donations, and team sponsorships!

Technology Update
1. Variable Event Payment Amounts. Let's say you have a few people on your team that don't pay for events. Coaches, people who donate their time, trade-outs -- all these people will attend your events, but
maybe they don't need to pay what everyone else pays. You can now set up exceptions to the Event Fee defined on your Calendar screen for any event.
In the Event Details, you can change fees for individuals
In the Players / Members screen, set individual season fees

2. Inviting guests to events. In the event detail area, you can now specify if you want your players / team members to be able to invite guests to the event. If you want guests invited, you will see the number of
guests in all of your attendance records and reminders.

We also keep track of event payments for attendees bringing guests. If an event costs $2 and a player is bringing 2 guests, the charge to the player will be $6 (3 x $2). This will be visible on all of your billing / payment
management screens.

3. Notification of Forum Posts. To help increase involvement in your team Forums, all team members now will get emails whenever a new post has been made. These email notifications can be set to 3 levels -
notification of all posts, notification of posts made by the team captain (group leader), or all notification off.

4. Custom website homepage. You can now define your own "Home" screen for your team website. As an additional convenience, you can now easily add images from your Media library using the image insert button.

1. Surveys. We're working on a way to send out a survey to all or some of your team members and conveniently compile results.
2. AdCenter. All of the ads served on the MyTeamCaptain network are now using our new AdCenter. We're working on the interface for advertisers, so stay tuned for the beta release announcement! In
the meantime, if you would like to place a targeted ad on our network of 20 websites, please contact us at
