Latest Premium Features

Shared Access. As a premium leader, you are able to assign many of the tasks that go along with managing your group to your team members. This includes shared access to manage team communication, calendar, website, and media uploads.

More Ad Space for Your Sponsors. 
Premium accounts are already able to accept donations directly through their website. Now you have the ability to have rotating banners on your website for sponsors. The banners can be found at the bottom of your team's homepage.

These are just two of the many features offered in our Premium Account. As always, the Premium Account is a major steal. For less than a package of hot dogs and buns, you could be a premium member.

It's easy to upgrade - simply change the status on your My Account page to start enjoying the many benefits that come with having a Premium Account.

Technology Update

How Shared Access Works.  This update gives trusted members of your team the ability to help manage your group. 

On the Players/Members page, you can click on the new icon to open up a window (or door) where you set these permissions.  Simply click on a checkmark to grant permission to a team member. 


Setting Shared Access for Selected Team Members

Shared Access is available for premium accounts.  Easily upgrade your account on the My Account screen.


MessageCenter.  For easy communication between team members, your Active Teams/Active Groups page now has a place for all of your members to communicate directly with one another. Basically, any group member can create a full-blown HTML email to send to any other member without ever leaving the site!

Added bonus! Premium Accounts are able to track team messaging activity with summary reports.


Team Website Visibility Upgrades
.   You can now turn the visibility of these functions on and off 3 for areas of your website.
Find these options under the Colors/Layout area of your website manager, at the bottom of the screen.


Team Member Information Sharing. Your team members can now determine exactly what information they want shared with the members of each team they are on.  Team members and players can also specify which fields they want to be viewable on the team website.

Before team members set their own visibility of their fields, you as the team leader have the ability to define their defaults.  If you are leading a close-knit group of friends or a small book club, you can allow them to see all their details by default.  On the other hand, if you're managing a large networking group, you may want to limit the information your group members can see about each other. 

The default viewing options are set on the Members/Players screen.

Quick Add For Players/Members.  We've made it easier to add team members to your teams on the Players/Members page with the new Quick Add function.  Open the list of players/members for any season or session and you'll see the new link there.  You can enter the new member's name and email and add more details later.

On the Burner

1.  Surveys.  We're working on a way to send out a survey to all or some of your team members and conveniently compile results.

2. AdCenter. All of the ads served on the MyTeamCaptain network are now using our new AdCenter.  We're working on the interface for advertisers, so stay tuned for the beta release announcement!  In the meantime, if you would like to place a targeted ad on our network of 20 websites, please contact us at sales@myteamcaptain.com.

Quick Tip: News/Blogs
You can use your team website as a blogging tool.  Entering news items and blog entries is super easy - click on the "Fansite" or "Website" link on your Active Teams/Groups page.

Remember to enter the scores from your games - your team and the rest of the MyTeamCaptain community wants to know about your victories, so enter your scores on the Schedule page and bask in the glory!
