Over the last few weeks, a lot of improvements and feature enhancements have been made, and now the teamr family of sites is better than ever!  We added several tools and functions that users have been asking for, and we encourage you to take a few minutes to check them out.

Comparing Apples to Apples

We did a little comparison shopping to ensure our users are getting the best deal on the planet.  Sure enough, our independent reviewing agency came back with a pretty good assessment.  Check it out on our Product Comparison Page.

Still not sure if you can swing the $5/month or $50/year for a Premium account?  We just made our apples even sweeter - Premium users can now create up to 5 new totally custom pages for the public website.  You choose the page name and control the content.  Are you a scout leader in need of a Merit Badge Requirements page?  Or do you want a page dedicated to an upcoming event?  Now you can do that - fast.

pages using the Website Editor tool under the "Homepage" tab

Technology Update

Public Events.  You can now specify events as "Public Events" in your event details (on the Calendar page).  These events show up on your public website (or fansite, for sports teams) as events that anyone can click on and register for.  One huge benefit here for premium accounts - you can also accept payment for these events.  So if you're throwing a big party, or managing a race, or collecting funds to pay for food at your next big event, all you do is check a box, and we take care of the rest!

Surveying event attendees.
  So you're going to have a party and you want to know what everyone wants to eat - we now have a simple solution for you!  When you create your event, simply choose what survey questions you want your attendees to answer - when those attendees confirm attendance, they will be given a link to take your survey.  Use this convenient tool to plan your upcoming events

So easy to do, and so powerful


"Available Times" Survey Question. 
There's a new kind of survey in town, and it's bound to save you some of the back-and-forth you no doubt experience when trying to schedule meetings with your group.  Simply create an Available Times survey question and you'll see a consolidated report of who is available for your next meeting.  It's fast, it's simple, and it's collaborative - each survey responder will be able to see when everyone else is available.

Team Member Information in Printable Pop-up. 
On the Members / Players page, the Team Leader or Captain can now click on the name of the member to see or print details in a convenient pop-up window.

League Player Stats. 
MyTeamCaptain, the sports portal for teamr technology, now manages individual player stats.  Stats can be entered by the league manager or the team captain and are tabulated in a fast, easy-to-see layout.

Adding events on the 2nd Tuesday of the Month.
You can now easily add multiple events that fall on the same week of the month on the New Event entry.  Thanks to a suggestion from one of our MyDiveGroup organizers, it's as easy as you would expect from teamr software.  Check it out:

Turn Forum On/Off.  You can now turn off the Forum feature from the Teams / Groups screen.  Simply uncheck the box, and your team members won't be able to post messages in the Forum.

Custom User-Defined Data (this is a big one!).  Store and track whatever information you would like about your team members.  Want to keep track of how many lefties are on your softball team or how many of your HOA residents are renters?  Now you can!  Go to your Teams / Groups page, where you originally set up your team name, event reminder schedule, etc and at the bottom, you'll see at the bottom where you can add and modify your own custom user-defined data. 

Player/Member Info Manager.  Information about your teams and groups is now organized into a slick new page on your Members/Players page.  Click on this icon to open up the new page.  There you can select any field (e.g., City, State, Phone, or any user-defined field) and look at your team members' data for that field.

  Keep track of your group the easy way
With the flexibility built into the new Player/Member Info Manager, you can keep track of whatever you want.  Set up your user fields and store your members' accomplishments, preferences, and more.  Keep in mind that you can also control whether or not you want team members to be able to see this information about each other.  This is done at the top of the View Players / Members area on the Players / Members screen.
