Why Upgrade to Premium?

You may ask yourself why we tirelessly promote Premium accounts.  It's not just because that extra $5 is the difference between us surviving on mac and cheese, and living high on the hog (microwave burritos).  It's because a premium teamr account opens a world of opportunity to save YOU time and money.  Accepting online event payments, adding custom pages to your public website, customizing your emails, and sharing account management access with trusted team members are just a few of the many reasons to splurge this holiday season.  Consider it a gift to yourself!

Technology Update

Teamr Mobile.  Now you can access teamr from anywhere your cell phone or mobile device can access the Internet - which for most of us is pretty much everywhere except our house and office!  Optimized to work on PDA's and Smart Phones, Teamr Mobile contains the most important functions - your calendar, contact manager, and email/SMS tools.  Just go to teamr.com and our system will recognize that you are on a portable device and automatically switch to the Mobile version.  It's that easy!


Access teamr from your web-enabled mobile device

New Templates.  Your public website is your way of showing the world what your group is all about, so to make it even better we hired some graphic artists to design some cool new templates to use as your background.  This way you can be sure it has the right look and feel for your team or group.  We have over 60 templates now, with a virtually unlimited combination of colors.  Keep an eye out - we are adding more all the time!  And if there is something we are missing just let us know and we will see if we can get it added for you.


Choose from all kinds of new templates for your public site

Sticky Forum Topics.  Team leaders and captains can now set their new forum topics as "sticky", meaning they will be shown first (at the top of the list of topics).

Combining Calendars from Other Teams/Groups on your Public Website.  If you manage more than one group or have multiple seasons that are active, you can now combine them in the public website calendar.  In your public website (a.k.a. fansite) manager, you can now combine calendars from other teams and groups into your public calendar.  Simple go to the Event Info tab and check the boxes for the other groups you would like to combine and voila!  It's all in one place!

One application where this is useful is yoga studios, where a studio may be coordinating many different teacher's schedules through one account - all you have to do is add each teacher's classes to your primary group and everyone just can go to one site to see the entire studio's schedule of classes!

Be sure to tell your friends about teamr's sites. Everyone knows someone that could benefit from our free tools!

  Get reimbursed for holiday party expenses
We've all been there - someone says "who's going to organize the office party", and somehow everyone's eyes go to you.  If this has happened to you, fret no longer!  Teamr makes it easy - just create the event, add the event fee, and you're done!  All the event reminders will automatically add the link to pay for the event and each person can pay online!  (note: you must have a Premium account to do this)

Doug, our VP of Operations, has officially launched a blog site using our website builder.  Get the inside track on what we're doing, gain access to special feedback and forums, and have a greater say in what we're doing here at Teamr for you.  Visit the site at http://management.teamr.com and be sure to request to join the team when you get there.
