Event Registration and Email - New and Improved!

Online Event Registration.  When one of our users brought the idea to us it seemed pretty simple and it made a lot of sense.  Almost every group has events and they should be able to organize them online.  Well...it still makes a lot sense, but we passed simple (without sacrificing ease-of-use) a long time ago!  The result is a POWERFUL event registration tool that is integrated into our group management sites.  No matter how big or complex your event becomes, we can help you manage it.

And as long as you are organizing an event we want you to have the best possible email invitations, so we upgraded those as well!  (We don't let our programmers out of the dungeon too often)

Technology Update

Event Registration.  Our big announcement this month is our new event registration feature, available to all users.  You can now ask people attending your event to tell you anything you like - from what they want for dinner, to how many T-shirts they want.  Every registration option can have an inventory and a cost associated with it. 

Registration options come in 5 different types - Yes Or No ("Do you want dinner?"), Enter Text ("Give us feedback about the event"), Choose One ("Do you want fish, chicken or beef?"), Choose Multiple ("How many shirts of each size do you want?"), and Group Size ("Register for the golf tournament as a single or as a foursome").

Check out the new Registration Options area next time you look at the event details from your calendar.  And no matter which site you use, if you need help with this or any other feature email us at support@teamr.com.

New Email Tools.  If you have never noticed how much you can do with our email functions, now is the time to learn!  We've made contacting your team members even easier with a couple cool new email tools for you.  In the list of active group members, you can now click a link that lets you add new contacts on the fly.

In the "To:" section of the email area, you can send emails to people who have RSVP'd to attend your events.  Perfect for letting past attendees know of upcoming events, or for letting event attendees know about last-minute changes. 

Need a way to prod your team into clicking that "Attend" link on your emails?  We also added a way to send emails only to group members who have not yet responded with an RSVP.

New Facebook Application. Our easy-to-use application on Facebook lets you view your upcoming events without ever leaving Facebook.  Search for "Teamr" on Facebook and you'll find it!

iGoogle Gadget.  iGoogle makes a great internet homepage and our new events gadget makes it even better.  Get a quick snapshot of your group's upcoming events as soon as you get online.  Search for "Teamr" in the iGoogle gadget directory to install it or just click here.
