Important changes to Event Fees. Event fees now INCLUDE the Paypal transaction fee (about 3% + 30 cents) and our $1 convenience fee. This is to reduce the confusion that we've heard from some of our users who are using
our online event payment system. Therefore, if you are going to use Teamr to automatically collect payment for your events, be sure to add these transaction fees into your event fee.
Fees shown are now all inclusive - adjust accordingly
Example: If your event fee is $100, you can expect to collect $95.70 after Paypal makes their $3.30 from the transaction and we collect our $1 convenience fee at the end of the month.
More options with User-Defined Data. You probably already know about setting up your own user-defined data fields (on your Group/Team Setup page) to keep track of whatever information you'd like to for each of your
contacts. Now you can set accessibility to that information by your contacts - hidden, visible, or editable.
Only show your members which custom fields you want
them to see - Even let them edit certain fields

A hidden field is data that you can use to keep track of something you wouldn't want your contact to see (e.g., you wouldn't want your group to know if you labeled some of them "prospects").

A visible field is something you want them to be able to see but not modify (e.g., a scout's merit badges).

An editable field is one the contact can update on their own (e.g., a wine circle's wine preferences). These editable fields also show up when your group members click on their Email Preferences link at the bottom of their
emails you send out.
Advanced Email Recipients Selection Tool. When you open your Email area, there is a new link that opens an advanced selector for your recipients. If you want to send an email to only certain contacts and you do not want
to manually check each box, here is where you can do this. Check or uncheck recipients based on their contact information (e.g., City or Zip) or any user-defined data fields.
Filter your email lists by multiple fields and options
New Profile Update for Group Members. When a member of your group logs in, there is a new, more noticeable icon on the Contacts page that shows them where to update their profile (including those Editable user-defined fields
you set up on your Group Setup page).
Look for this little guy and click to edit player information:
Showing only certain members on the public website. Your public website is the place where the world learns about what your team or group is doing. In some cases, particularly if you're managing a group with minors, you
will want to show only the adult members (leaders, coaches, administrators, etc) of the group. A new area in the Website Manager allows you to do just that. Assign positions to your group leaders and select only the positions
you want shown on your public website - it's that easy!
Control Member Data on your Public Website more Efficiently
Country field for locations. Heading across the border? Your event locations now include a field for the country. If you leave it blank, we assume you're staying in the country you entered when you set up your
account.
Sharing survey results with group members. In the Interact page, where you set up your surveys, you can now share the results of your questions with your survey responders. Each question has a setting now for "Share
results with people taking survey" - if set to yes, at the end of the survey, they will see a synopsis of all other survey responses (anonymously, of course).
