This program offers schools the opportunity to recycle classroom audio systems that have reached their end of useful life. Lightspeed also accepts other manufacturer's products when replaced with new Lightspeed systems. Schools will no longer have to find storage for old classroom audio technology, find a recycler, or pay for its disposal. Contact your local audio consultant or Lightspeed's corporate office directly for more information. > > Learn More Energy Star Update Energy Star and the EPA recently announced they will be expanding the scope of their Audio/Video specification to include a wider range of consumer electronics products, and intends to assess the benefits of extending the specification to include commercial/professional products. Although Lightspeed products are designed to meet energy efficiency guidelines set by the EPA they are categorized as commercial/professional products and are not eligible to bear the Energy Star logo until specification is extended. Lightspeed continues to engineer its products to be highly efficient and environmentally friendly. > > Learn More Tips & Tricks Additional microphones allow students to utilize the classroom audio system for presentations and discussions. Research shows participation increases as students gain confidence when using the additional microphone.
