Sexual Harassment Training Now Required by Law!
AB 1825: New provision to the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) September 29, 2004, Gov. Schwarzenegger
New Requirements for Employers:

Employers must now meet state-imposed minimum requirements for initial and continual training.

Employers have until January 1, 2006 to provide two hours of sexual harassment training and education to all supervisory employees.

After January 1, 2006, employers must train new supervisors within six months of them assuming a supervisory position.

Requires employers who regularly employ 50 or more employees (including sub-contractors, part-time, and out of state employees) to train supervisors on sexual harassment every two years.
