Cooler Tips #31
Outlook Calendar Integration

Hello CoolerEmail Subscriber!

We are proud to announce that CoolerEmail now offers "one-click" integration with your clients' Microsoft Outlook Calendars. That's right, next time you send a CoolerEmail announcing a networking meeting, business event or other get-together, your recipients can add the event details to their Outlook Calendar with one click!

Example (a real one!)

Lars Helgeson, co-founder and director of CoolerEmail, would like to invite you to attend the next San Diego Chamber of Commerce "Get Connected" breakfast, where he will be presenting the latest email marketing trends.

    Date: Wednesday, May 14, 2003
Time: 7:30 am to 9:30 am
Location: Quality Inn (next to Frog's Gym), Mission Valley, CA

If you use Microsoft Outlook and would like to add this event to your calendar, click here!

add to Calendar!

To create an Outlook calendar event for inclusion in your next CoolerEmail:

    1) upgrade your CoolerEmail account interface to "tabs" by:

    • After logging in, click the "help" button;
    • From the menu on the left-hand side, select "tabs" as the interface.

    2) click on the "Libraries" tab; and
    3) click on the "Outlook Event" link

After you have created your Outlook Event, CoolerEmail will automatically add it to your Document Library for you, so you can link to it and have it handy for subsequent "reminder" emails!

Consider utilizing the Outlook Event feature for your next business meeting announcement---your clients will thank you!

---Thank you very much for being a part of the Cooler team. We are working hard to offer you the best email program. If there are any additional features you would like added to CoolerEmail, please let us know. Thanks again.

Until next time...be cool!

Sincerely,

Leif and Lars
Co-Founders
