New Cooler Controls!!

Hello CoolerEmail Subscriber!

Start the New Year out right -- take advantage of CoolerEmail's powerful features revolutionizing e-mail marketing! Your office will be celebrating around the computer in 2004! Well, maybe not - but at least you will have the coolest marketing program around :)

Check out these new options:

New fields make account maintenance a cool breeze. Under the "My Account" tab (Update Account subnav), we have added the following fields:


The Company Banner URL is a URL to a banner that is placed at the top of your CoolerEmail account.

The "Post Profile Update via XML to URL" allows you to post information directly to your database if a recipient updates his or her profile using the CoolerEmail Profile Update link (included within your account). This is handy for keeping two separate databases of email addresses in synch!

Submitting your "Privacy/Anti-spam policy URL" enables your email recipients to click from your unsubscribe/profile update link directly to your privacy/anti-spam policy. Making this available is helpful to recipients who are concerned about their privacy and who would like to confirm they are not receiving unsolicited email.

Next time you login to your account, please add the URL of the website pages with authorized (and active) subscription forms to the "subscription form domain" field. This is an easy way to safeguard against someone attempting to create a fraudulent subscription form and attempting to upload bogus email addresses to your account.
 
Now you can lock your user fields!
Gain more control over your account information. Under the "My Account" tab ("Shared Access" subnav), we have added the ability to "lock" any/all of the 50 user-define userfields.


Add notes, to-do reminders!
Explore new ways to use your Cooler Email account. Under the "Help" tab ("Notepad" subnav), we have added a general purpose notepad. You can add notes, to-do's reminders, or other helpful information here.


Track your subscribers' birthdays!
You can have a new subscriber automatically add his/her birthday to the MasterCRM through your website signup form. And, you can assign an annual edition to be sent to the contact on his/her birthday! Instructions on how to do this are on the Help - Website Signup Form page. This feature has also been added to the Website Signup Form Wizard.

Users can update their profiles right from your website
We have enhanced the Website Profile Update form. By default, the Website Profile Update form enables subscribers to update basic information such as email address, name, and physical address. With the enhancement, your Website Profile Update form will exactly reflect the fields selected on your list settings page.

At the bottom of every email you send is a link for your recipients to update their profiles. If you would like to add a way for your recipients to unsubscribe or update their profiles through your website, you can now easily do it!

Set your number of bounces
Now you can set a limit on the number of times an email is allowed to bounce before it is official classified as "bounced." Under the "My Account" tab (Update Account subnav), simply pick the number times you will accept an "undeliverable" message before it is permanently flagged as "Bounced" in your Master CRM. The default for this is 3 hard bounces --- meaning that if your message fails to reach a recipient 3 times in row, we won't continue attempted delivery to that recipient. The complete report of which recipients have bounced for which reason is available in your Master CRM - Reports - Bounce Report section."
