2007 HEALTH NET MS BIKE RIDE | August 4,5 - Oregon
The 23rd annual 2007 Health Net MS Bike Ride, previously the MS150, invites you to ride with Maureen Manley, former member of the US Cycling Team. Maureen is the event's Honorary Chair. She has a long-standing career in competitive cycling and she has multiple sclerosis. Maureen is a powerhouse: she's an active cyclist, inspirational speaker, life coach and group facilitator. Along the ride you'll have the chance to see her in action and hear her speak at the Rider Village.

Sign up now for an unforgettable two-day journey through Oregon's spectacular wine country and woodlands. Bring your family and ride on their new, shorter family routes, available on both days. You can also cruise along scenic figure-eight courses, ranging from 25 to 104 miles, that include generous amenities, stunning landscapes, stops at spectacular vineyards and spirited festivities.

REACH THE BEACH PRE-RIDE PARTY | May 19 - Oregon

Reach the Beach, well known for its beautiful routes through rural Oregon, continues add new, exciting features every year. This year they've added a 110 Corvallis Challenge route, a deli-style lunch rest stop and organic fruit on the route.

The Pre-Ride Packet Pickup Party is April 29 at REI in Portland. They will be serving up delicious hors d'oeuvres and samples. You can register to ride, take 10% REI gear, get fundraising tips and hob knob with a hundreds of other riders. If you're already registered and have met your fundraising minimum, way to go - this is your night to pick up your packet of info so on the morning of the ride you're ready to go.

CYCLE FOR THE VISION | April - August, Oregon
Cycle for the Vision is an interactive and inspiring way to get in shape for the summer while helping Community Vision, a Portland-based nonprofit organization that empowers people with disabilities to live, work and thrive in the communities of their choice. This event is for everybody: the couch potato who hasn't ridden a bike since grade-school, the weekend warrior looking for another challenge, the family that wants to spend some meaningful time together.

For a $500 fundraising commitment, you can participate in professionally coached weekend training rides and weeknight spin classes from April through August. You will receive a commemorative Cycle for the Vision jersey and you'll gain a great sense of accomplishment. For a more rigorous challenge, you may also join the team on a trek from Seattle to Vancouver, B.C. in August. When you sign up for Pedal for the Vision, you pedal to change the lives of people with disabilities.
MT. BIKE OREGON | July, August - Oakridge
Here's the best way to describe it: A mt. biker's dream weekend getaway. Set in Oakridge, Oregon, a town nestled in the middle of national forest, there is no shortage of awesome riding at Mt. Bike Oregon. Shuttle buses will take you up to the trailheads, you tear it up all day and a FREE beer garden awaits you in the evening.
