THE NIGHT RIDE | July 8 - Portland
Welcome to the Nighttime Club. You've seen all sorts of daytime bike rides and events, but you've never seen anything like this. Portland is joining the ranks of all other cycling cities with it's very own downtown-starting Night Ride. The ride begins across from the train station and quickly scoots riders over the river on a magical nighttime journey.

The start line features free mini tune-ups by The Bike Gallery, glow necklaces (to ward off vampires, of course), TriMet to demystify the use of a bus bike rack and an extravagant costume contest. Prizes include 2 free passes to: Mt. Bike Oregon ($360 value), The Portland Century ($100 value) and Hottest Day of the Year Ride ($50 value). The Last Regiment Syncopated Drummers will kick things off with their signature deep-in-the-gut rhythms to get you moving. Along the way, you'll be treated to fire jugglers, musicians and entertainment surprises in the most unlikely secret places. Get ready to 'do the hustle' at the DISCO REST STOP. Show off your best electric slide before heading back downtown for the all-you-can-eat finish line doughnut feast. Amnesia Brewing and several other establishments in the area will be offering special pricing to The Night Ride participants who don't want the fun to stop when the ride ends.
