 Reach the Bridge is Portland's most thrilling run/walk with the heart-pounding goal of reaching the Burnside Bridge before
it rises at 9:00 am - SHARP! You can expect a day filled with excitement as runners, walkers and stroller-pushers speed their way to the finish line. You can leave as early as you want, or as late as you dare, as long as you make it to
the other side of the river for the after party!
Reach the Bridge offers a super scenic 8k course. The route begins at the World Forestry Center and takes you through the beautiful Washington Park, past the Japanese Garden and the Lewis and Clark Circle, and down Burnside. Not ready
for the full 8k? No worries, as there is an optional 2k that starts at PGE Park. This is perfect for little legs and kids in strollers. It's a great way to spend time together as a family, meet other runners and spend a healthy day
enjoying downtown Portland. Kids love to watch the bridge rise up just for them and it's sure to be a great way to kick start your summer!
Reach the Bridge is a fundraiser for the American Lung Association in Oregon. This is you opportunity to honor lung cancer survivors and pay special tribute to those lost to the disease. When you fundraise for this event, you are
eligible for great prizes and will help fund the research that makes an impact on this devastating disease.

Arc in Moton | Saturday, June 13 – Vancouver, WA |
 The Arc in Motion is a community event designed for people of all abilities. From toddlers to seasoned runners, everyone
will enjoy the beautiful course along the paved Burnt Bridge Creek Discovery Trail. Participants can choose from a 5k, 10k and half mile kid's fun run. All courses begin in the backyard of the Arc Family Center on the Discovery Trail.
The 5k follows the trail east to 92nd Ave and is perfect for strollers, wheelchairs, walkers and pets on leashes. For those looking for more of a challenge, the 10k follow the trail west to SR 500 and over some sizable hills. A carnival
bursting with family fun, games and prizes awaits everyone at the finish!
Arc in Motion is a fundraiser for the Arc of Clark County, the premier advocate agency for persons with deveopmetal disabilities for over 72 years. The agency provides early education and therapies for children, job skills training for
young adults, independent living skills and support and so much more. Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraisers.

Summer Sunset Solstice Sprint Tri & Du | Sunday, June 21 – Vancouver, WA |
 Take advantage of these long summer days by participating in this sprint triathlon and duathlon. That's right, no early
mornings for this race - the Summer Sunset Solstice doesn't even start until 5:30 pm and the course is open until 9:30 pm. You can finish just in time to watch the sun set over the Columbia River!
This USATF sanctioned event will have you swimming a half mile downstream the mighty Columbia River, biking 12.8 miles on quiet country roads, and running a 5k on flower-lined paths to the finish line at Frenchmen's Bar Park. This is a
very flat and fast course with very little traffic to get in your way, making it a great event for beginners or as a season opener. Each participant gets a medal and a sweat wicking t-shirt. You can register in advance online or day-of
on site from 9:30-10:30 am.

Foot Traffic Flat Half and Full Marathon | Saturday, July 4 – Sauvie Island, OR |
 Now a Fourth of July tradition in Portland, the "Flat" is about the flattest and fastest course on the West Coast.
Numerous people have made PR's after completing this race - a blessing for anyone wanting to qualify for the Boston Marathon! Aside from the expected fast times, runners and walkers will be able to take in the sights and sounds of
beautiful Sauvie Island. Hundreds of songbirds can be heard chirping while you take in views of the majestic Mt. St. Helens, picturesque farmlands, and the occasional bald eagle.
The half marathoners will run or walk once around the loop course, starting and finishing at the Pumpkin Patch on the South side of the island. New this year, the full marathoners will run out and back on Sauvie Island Rd. before rejoing
the original course . When you're all finished, island fresh strawberry shortcake will be waiting for you. There will also be a typical Fourth of July BBQ courtesy of the Pumpkin Patch. Registration is capped at 2,000 so be sure to
register early.

Lacamas Lake Half Marathon and Four Miler | Sunday, July 26 - Camas, WA |
 This event is a real treat if you have not yet participated before. Praised for its organization and scenery, this half
marathon has been recognized as one of the most beautiful courses in the region. Even though it's only twenty-five minutes from downtown Portland, you'll feel like you've escaped into the heart of nature.
The half marathon race begins at Camas High and proceeds northwest around the beautiful lake, which provides for a very serene setting. You will then run or walk along the part-paved, part-trail course to catch views of the Camas Meadows
Golf Course and the magnificent Mt. Hood on the southern shore of the lake. If you're not quite ready for a half, there is a four-mile option around Round Lake as well. New this year is an inflatable jungle gym at the finish for both
adults and kids, including an obstacle course, four sport zone and a velcro wall. Also waiting for you at the finish will be fruit, bottled water, bagels and food from the Old Spaghetti Factory, as well as a wide variety of product
vendors for you and your friends and family to enjoy!
