I have ridden many parades, trails, shows, and exhibitions with the same Peruvian saddle for about 15 years. In all of that time, the tree of the Raintree Peruvian saddle has always fit on all the many horses I have ridden. Two years ago
I acquired a wonderful gelding "Sammy" full of promise – beautiful gait, well built, great temperament. Then came the problems. He never settled under saddle. He would try to run through the bit, refuse to back, hard at circles and prone
to buck. I tried different pads and shims. They helped, but he was still tense, chomping at the bit, with no relaxed walk. Stacy Diaz watched me ride and commented, "Sammy" still looked uncomfortable. When talking with Cheryl she
mentioned this new flex panel system. I had my doubts, but at this point, I had nothing to lose. So I tried. Sammy raced around the first 10 minutes, but then he took a big sigh relaxed, dropped his head and walked, he then did a
relaxed circle and a quiet back. I could hardly believe it. So, I kept the saddle for a month and his performance only improved. When I lifted up the saddle pad, there were no pressure points, and his back was uniformly wet. His gait
has become more even using both hind legs equally. Sammy bends and doubles more easily and the bucking has stopped. So, I definitely consider this a success story. Then to add a P.S. – during this time, I acquired a gelding that needed
some T.L.C. He came in a little thin, and much different confirmation than any other horse I owned. The same saddle was able to conform beautifully to the back of "Red". I will tell you, - that was the true test for me - and this flex
panel system you have to use to believe.

Sammy – little withers round back very typical confirmation
5 years old gelding 14.2 hands 850 lbs.

Red- narrow high withers atypical confirmation
4 years old gelding 15.2 hands 950 lbs.

As for the Performance Saddle with Flex Panels, I LOVE IT!! I will make this work. The only way I can describe it is, it's like riding on AIR SHOCKS. I'm sure my mouth was open the first 50 strides. It's too hot to ride this week, but
I can't wait to hit the trail. Thank you Cheryl, for making it possible to have the best of both worlds. I'm sure you've experienced this saddle for yourself.
