The Chamber has pressed the case for AB 343 with Assembly Appropriations Chair Kevin De Leon and Speaker Pro Tempore Lori Saldana. This legislation will provide uniform treatment of students of military
families transferring between school districts and states by allowing California to join the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children.
