The Chamber will give small business owners an opportunity to voice their concerns about the impacts of state regulations with Assemblyman Dan Logue, Vice Chairman of the Committee on Jobs, Economic Development and the Economy this Friday, October 30, from 10 a.m. to noon.  A delegation of legislators including State Senator Denise Moreno Ducheny, Assembly Members Dan Logue, Joel Anderson, Marty Block, Martin Garrick, Diane Harkey, Steve Knight and Mary Salas, County Supervisor Bill Horn and San Diego City Councilman Carl DeMaio will hear from two panels of small business owners, with an opportunity for Chamber members to testify following the discussion.  Read more

The Chamber has been a long-time supporter of a comprehensive solution that includes restoration of the Bay-Delta ecosystem. Our region’s $171 billion economy and the quality of life for San Diego’s three million residents depend on a safe and reliable water supply for San Diego.  Yesterday, State legislators started hearings on a comprehensive water legislation package that is intended to improve California’s water delivery system.  Read more
