We've got land! |
 |
|
On Tuesday, Aug. 19, Boaco Mayor Vivian Orozco signed the deed that finalized his donation of 1 manzana (1.75 acres) of land for the construction of Clínica Verde. By the following morning our project manager in
Nicaragua had met with local architects and was lining up tests for soil and water absorption. We're ready to move forward!
A special thanks to Cristiana Chamorro Lacayo, Antonio Lacayo, Johny Siman, Dr. Armando Incer and his family, and Xiomara Valverde for representing us in Nicaragua and helping to see that this process was completed. We are extraordinarily
fortunate to have such strong partners and supporters in Nicaragua.
And thanks to all of you who have believed in and supported this project from the beginning. We look forward to working together to build a clinic that brings health and hope to families in need in this area of the world!

Clínica Verde: Supported by Members of the U.S. House and Senate
Sometimes people ask us, "Why are you building your prototype in Nicaragua? Why not do your work here in the United States?" We have answers to that, but so do some of our supporters who urgently understand the importance of global
humanitarian work for the safety and image of our country.
"As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, I understand the importance of diplomatic relations, and I applaud your efforts to spread a positive image of the United States abroad." Read this quote and others from a U.S. Senator
and two Congressmen who support the work of Clínica Verde to build a sustainable health clinic abroad.
